What We Stock
Mason Sand
Fine, washed sand used for mortar mixing, brick and block laying, paver joint sand, and play areas. Cleaner than fill sand — almost no clay or organic material.
Fill Sand & Concrete Sand
Coarser washed sand used for pad prep under pavers, drainage layers, and trench bedding for utility lines. Often called "concrete sand" or "C-33" sand.
Screened Topsoil
Topsoil that's been screened to remove rocks, roots, and clumps. Used for new lawns, raised garden beds, leveling low spots in a yard, and bringing dead-grass areas back to life.
Clean Fill Dirt
Subsoil with no organic material, no debris, no contamination — used for raising grade, filling low spots that won't be planted, and bringing in the bulk material before topsoil goes on top. Cheaper per yard than topsoil.
Bank Run / Pit Run
Unprocessed material straight from a pit or bank cut — mix of sand, gravel, and clay. Cheap, useful for rough fill, but you don't want it where you'll plant grass.
Common Uses by Material
- Setting pavers or flagstone — 1–2 inches of fill sand on a crusher run base, joint-filled with mason sand
- New lawn or sodding — 2–4 inches of screened topsoil over the existing grade
- Filling settling foundation spots — clean fill dirt then topsoil on top
- Backfilling a trench — the spoil you dug out, or clean fill if the spoil is unusable
- Raised garden beds — screened topsoil, optionally mixed with compost
- Bringing grade up to a slab or foundation — fill dirt, compacted in lifts
Delivery
We deliver by the dump truck load, sized to the job. For tight residential spots we run smaller trucks; for big fill jobs we'll bring tri-axles. Loose materials don't lend themselves to bagged delivery — if you only need a yard or two, ask about pickup or a small load.
